Friendship Quilters members Millie Selinsky and Kay Panozzo shared some of their quilts and captured memories at the meeting.

Quilts hold memories of travels and people for quilters Millie Selinsky and Kay Panozzo, who recently showed some of their favoriete quilts to fellow club members of Friendship Quilters & Fabric Artists at the Bell Recreation Center in Sun City.
Ms. Selinsky showed several landscape-style wall quilts, including one inspired by the scenes of Cabo San Lucas. She also showed her most cherished quilt, made from a traditional Dresden Plate pattern and hand pieced by her mother.

FQFA Presents

Ms. Panozzo displayed a wall hanging embellished with the gold wedding band she wore while working as a nurse, a lapel pin commemorating her nursing education, her father's tie tack, a son's Patrol Boy pin, buttons from friends and more.
Another small quilt displayed signatures of people Mrs. Panozzo has met during her travels.
"Both of these women are retired nurses and their love and caring is shown in these quilts," club president Betty Myers said.
The inspirational show is an example of the many activities that take place at the club throughout the year.

THANKS TO ALL WHO VOLUNTEERED THEIR TIME AND TALENTS!
